Peer Supporter Program

As of this year, Vanier has a Peer Supporter Program. Peer supporters are students who provide mental health support to other students in Vanier. They use skills obtained through life experience, a three-day training and weekly meetings to help you deal with issues such as worrying about tests, finding it hard to get into a rhythm now you are working from home, fitting in with others or having a fall out with a friend. They will work closely with the counsellors, but if your concerns are more serious, they may refer you to the counsellor. You can also contact the counsellors directly via de link on this school site.

Five of the peer supporters would like to introduce themselves to you. They have email addresses used only for this purpose and you can use these to reach out to them.
